The restaurant was good for a very convenient and enjoyable choice, I tried amazing dishes. The nature view here was magnificent. The location was ideal, the room was silent and functional. You could walk to shops and the main shopping centre.

The location in a good area was great and incredible. Supermarkets and little stores were right next door.

Everything was excellent, however a few employees were not so helpful. My twin room with a good view, comfortable beds, for instance was functional. The service was really great, that made the hotel beautiful little place.

Cozy beds, exceptionally good rooms. A huge variety of food available in the patio.

The location was gorgeous, to the centre with bus with easy access to a small store and a supermarket.

Silent and a nice size rooms with private bathrooms and coffee/tea makers and fridges. The location lovely and magnificent on the hills of Buda-city centre easily reached by bus. Also - close enough to Helios Pension for 3 nights, interesting sights and which had a lot of space.

Spacious and clean rooms with great windows on both sides, offering a lovely view. Well-equipped kitchenette, allowing for the convenience of preparing our own breakfast.- Helpful and friendly staff who provided excellent detailed information on getting around and sightseeing.

The rooms could use some updates, such as fresh wall paint, to make them more modern and appealing.

The reason I chose Helios, is the location, it was outside the city in the Buda Hills a lovely location, and with access to regular transport to get into the city when I wanted too - bus runs about every 10/12 minutes. It has a beautiful garden and I could sit and read if I didn't want to go sightseeing. The staff all speak English and were extremely helpful in organising bus tickets and providing information about how to get to places. For example I bought a 72 hour transport card (buses, trains, trams) and went to Memento Park only on the public buses. They made my visit so easy. There were many good recommendations by other travellers to stay at this Pension - I concur its a great place to stay.

I have no complaints but an observation which I shared with the hotelier, which is the rooms can be booked with credit card but the 'extras' like bus tickets or mini bar has to be paid in cash. I found this a little frustrating in that it is just easier to pay all with a card, but not a big deal really.

Hotel staff is excellent.

No Air Conditioning, far from center, difficult to reach Helios Hotel Pension even with GPS, nothing around, nothing to do, the TV very small, channels only in Hungarian and German... In conclusion, a quite location for retirement...

Had breakfast in the patio, it was delicious and exceptionally good with great coffee, a quick pasta plus including juices. The location was amazing - really close to the metro station and Helios Pension for 3 nights.

This hotel is a great find for its value for money. The rooms are very clean and come with basic amenities like a fridge or even a kitchen. The large terrace opening onto a beautiful garden is a wonderful addition. The breakfast included in the price offers a wide variety of options and is plentiful.

Everything was perfect, no improvements needed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable room. Just five minutes walk to the bus that took us into the city centre.

No elevator and three floors of steps. No air conditioning, but it did get cool at night anyway.

The rooms are exceptionally good with a large terrace, a kitchenette, for instance. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet! Would have stayed for longer, I enjoyed this nice and charming place.

I recently stayed at Helios Hotel in Budapest for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, situated on a peaceful side street just off a main access road. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any personal requests. The convenience of a direct bus line, only a 2-minute walk away, made it easy to reach the city center in just 20 minutes. The free WiFi and lovely garden were also a bonus. I can't wait to return!
